The Silox group is the sole manufacturer of sodium hydrosulphite-based reducing agents with production plants on three continents. Silox has many years of experience in this area. We have been manufacturing sodium hydrosulphite in Engis since 1949, via the zinc route.

We have developed a comprehensive range of hydrosulphite-based reducing agents. Our products are sold in solid (HY-BRITE® and Hydros® ranges) and liquid (SiBrite) form. They have been developed to meet the specific needs of our customers.

Sodium Hydrosulphite-based reducing agents are mainly used in three sectors :
